ASPECT ART shares the art and journey of two artists who have come to understand and express the maze of their inner dynamics through their creative work.
The text emerged from conversation in the artist’s studio. Elisabeth and Helen coined the term ‘Aspect Art’ to reflect their sense of exploring individual facets or ‘aspects’ of one’s psyche.
These aspects include one’s awareness, influences and responses to the whole of one’s life, as discovered, expressed, and sometimes resolved through the creative process.
